About ENQ

The view from my home growing up in Alaska was the northern end of Woronkofski Island, which you can see has a distinct resemblance to an Elephant's nose in recline! When I bought my long arm, a Janome QMP20 with Prostitcher, I started calling her "Ellie" as I learned the long arming craft! Thus Elephant's Nose Quilting was born. 

I currently live on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. By day I am a scientists, investigating how people interact with coastal ecosystems. I love to make my own quilts and adventure in the outdoors.
